Marija Gimbutas, Riane Eisler, Wilhelm Reich, George Gurdjieff, Peter D Ouspensky, Alfie Kohn, and others have described from various viewpoints a pandemic emotional/social illness that has plagued the human species for the last 5,000 years.
Gimbutas and Eisler called it the "Dominator Paradigm" or "Dominator Culture". Reich called it the "Emotional Plague". Gurdjieff and Ouspensky called it "Sleep".

American Businessmen Financed Hitler

The funding for Hitler's military buildup came from very wealthy businessmen, 75% of it from Americans, including both of GW Bush's grandfathers. Their goal was to have Hitler murder all the socialists, social democrats, and union leaders in the U.S.S.R. and Europe. Socialism, social democracy, and trade unionism had begun to give working people -- the vast majority of the population -- control of their nations' government and economy.

If working people controlled their countries, the ultra-wealthy businessmen would no longer be able to use workers as slaves by robbing them of most of the value of the goods and services their labor produced.
